This year saw a series of trial midweek matches which were held on Burcliffe Pond and despite some disappointing catches the series overall proved to be a huge success. Clear water was blamed for the low catches and particularly the absence of bream but attendances held up well and the Club is looking at holding the series again in 2016.

Carl Rothram, pictured below was one angler who managed to find a few bream, while Alan Banks caught one of a number of carp which were found to be present in the pond
