Staggering results on the river bank

Anyone who has been down to the Don to fish the ‘Corus field’ can’t fail to be impressed with the new access. The Riverside Stewardship guys have made a marked impact on the invasive weeds to the extent that cars can now be driven all along the length and access to the new pegs is perfect. But their efforts wont end there for they have been contacted to continue the work over the next two years and will be back again in September this year.
But this new stretch isn’t the only length to receive attention, just prior to the season starting, and litterally with no time to spare, the old sleeper platforms used for pegs 1 -35 have also now been replaced with new recycled plastic ones with the result that all the 75 pegs on the Kilnhurst waters are now made from recycled plastic.
