Other Club Matches 08
We run this series of matches on our own waters (i.e. Ravenfield Ponds, River Don or South Yorks Navigation Canal, at either Kilnhurst or Mexborough) on Saturdays, spread through June to November. These are run as sweepstakes and also carry a cash prize which can be collected at the Club's Presentation Evening. The eight match series includes the Ravenfield Championships and a Fur and Feather match with plenty of turkeys up for grabs. To fish on any of these matches you should book beforehand with the nominated committee contact - usually Dave Hawkridge. Full match details are recorded in the match calendar. We also run an Angler of the Year competition; again, with cash prizes. A complete record is kept of all our match results.
