Stolen Tackle
In the early hours of 28th September one of our members Paul Burgess had most of his gear stolen from the back of his truck in Wombwell.
Amongst the stolen tackle were 5 rods, including 3 rare Century AK47 twin tips with 3 silcast gxb 60 reels fitted to them complete with red line. Plus one 6 foot Wychwood stalking rod which was brand new.
Other items stolen were an almost new JRC twin skin bivvy, a Rod Hutchinson bivvy, bed chair and lots of leads and terminal tackle.
A lot of this tackle has sentimental value attached to it.
If anyone is offered any of this tackle please let us know in confidence so we may be able to reunite Paul with his gear.
