Ravenfield and Baker's get stock boost - Ravenfield Ponds - Coarse Fishing in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK

Ravenfield took delivery of 200, 4 to 6 inch tench, this week from Mainstream Fisheries. The fish, which were in excellent condition, were stocked into stock ponds to grow on. A typical sample is shown in the photograph below.

In addition, and thanks to a grant from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, to help with the development of Baker's Pond, 530 tench, similar to the one above, and 530 crucian carp were also introduced into Baker's.
