More and better catches
The ponds have been fishing better than ever during the last week or two with a couple of 20lbs carp being taken, a 6lbs 8ozs tench being caught, and the three hour match record being broken by Alan Banks who landed 24lbs 2ozs of assorted tench, crucians, bream and roach during this week's Tuesday evening match, the second 20lbs winning weight in two weeks.
Despite this some anglers don't seem to be getting the best from the water and to try to help in this respect we have included a new section on the site called Fishing Tips which will in time feature help with methods and tackle from some of the club's most successful anglers.
