Carp Pond is fishing its head off.
During the last few weeks anglers fishing the carp pond have been having some excellent sport. Gone are the small fish which had been in abundance to be replaced by some absolute beauties topped by Dennis Campini who landed a 26lbs 12 ozs mirror just days ago. But Dennis has not been on his own, Mark Dunwell had the best overall catch in recent years landing fish of 17lbs 12ozs, 19lbs 7ozs, 20lbs 4ozs, 21lbs exactly and 23lbs 10ozs, all mirrors, in one overnight session.
