Kingfisher project proves a big hit with members

The decision to make the Kingfisher Pond a crucian, rudd and tench fishery is proving to be a big success with members with some excellent catches being taken especially in the shallower water. Steve Sutton, pictured below had one of the best with an estimated 50lbs of fish. One of the best fish caught to date is a 1lbs 12ozs rudd, a real specimen. Hopefully some of the 5000 smaller crucians will have grown sufficiently to be large enough to catch next year.
