Carp Pond Netting

    Just a note to let everyone know that on Sunday January 8th we will be netting the Carp Pond to remove perch as part of our anti weed campaign. Should be fun, if you like that sort of thing, start at 9.00 a.m. All welcome provided you're prepared to work, bring waders, chest preferably, and gloves, water proof to keep hands dry, flask and food. Should be done after lunch with luck.

    Yes. We got ~ 50lbs of perch.

    You should see the carp feeding this morning!

    Regards netting the carp pond, I'm curious to know which pond the perch were transferred to, also which pond were the bream removed from.
